Terms & legal notice

The terms that apply when you use this website and submit requests to the Office.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. No legal advice on this website

The content of this website is general information about the services of T.D Ambon Law Office (“the Office”). It is not legal advice and should not be relied on as such. Legal advice is given only in the course of an actual consultation or engagement.

2. No attorney-client relationship from a submission

Submitting a consultation request, service request, or inquiry through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship is formed only when the Office confirms the engagement. The Office may decline any request, including where a conflict of interest exists.

3. Requests, quotations, and fees

Prices shown on this website are minimum or starting fees for common services. The final fee may be higher depending on the complexity of the matter, and will be communicated as a quotation before work begins. For services priced on property value (such as deeds and extrajudicial settlements), the fee is computed on the total value involved.

Consultation fees are charged per booked duration. Payment of a consultation fee or quotation is processed through PayMongo; the Office does not receive or store card or e-wallet credentials.

4. Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation

Appointment slots are confirmed only after the Office's review (and, where applicable, payment). The Office may reschedule an appointment when necessary — for example, due to court hearings — and will notify you with the reason and either a new schedule or an offer to arrange one.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, contact the Office as early as possible. Refunds of paid fees, where applicable, are handled according to the Office's engagement terms communicated at the time of booking.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, impersonate another person, misuse the forms, or attempt to interfere with the operation or security of this website. Automated or abusive submissions may be blocked.

6. Confidentiality of initial submissions

Information you submit is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. However, because no attorney-client relationship exists until an engagement is confirmed, you should limit initial submissions to the information reasonably needed for the Office to assess your request.

7. Limitation of liability

The Office makes reasonable efforts to keep this website accurate and available but does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the Office is not liable for losses arising from reliance on general website content or from causes beyond its reasonable control.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from the use of this website shall be brought before the proper courts of the Philippines.

9. Changes

The Office may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its revision date, will always be posted on this page.
